  • GCOS - Award $25,000

    GCOS - Give Care Openly Services, A Helping Hands Foundation - provides necessary supports to those 65 and older and disabled individuals, 21 and older. GCOS employs case workers to assess the individuals’ needs and connect them with the necessary resources.

    This award will help GCOS coordinate services that allow older adults to remain in their homes, such as in-home meals, homemaker assistance, and other services.

  • Project Exit - Award $20,000

    Project Exit is a local nonprofit that seeks to create opportunities where youth and young adults can achieve self-discovery through college and career coaching, youth entrepreneurship projects, virtual and administration training, and life coaching/mentorship.

    This award will launch the “Viral Now What” Youth Initiative, which will help youth and young adult entrepreneurs build new businesses and receive administrative support from experienced organizational leaders to ensure their businesses thrive.

  • Prospect Whiz Kids - Award $2,750

    The Whiz Kids Site at Prospect Church provides one-on-one reading tutors/mentors to at-risk elementary school learners from Thelma Parks Elementary School. The tutors/mentors meet with their students one time per week at Prospect Church to help the students improve their reading skills and provide a positive adult role model.

    This award will close the financial gap and ensure that 75 students receive the one-on-one reading tutoring/mentoring.

  • Kidvation Global - Award $30,000

    Kidvation Global is an Oklahoma nonprofit organization working to bring innovation skills to upper elementary and middle school students. Through our Applied Imagination curriculum, we teach students how to tackle problems creatively and then apply those skills through life pathways including entrepreneurship, social activism, and research and development.

    Kidvation currently implements programming in public, charter, and microschools across Oklahoma (and other states & countries as well), including at Millwood Public Schools in Northeast Oklahoma City. It is our desire to increase impact in Northeast Oklahoma City by exposing more students to our curriculum and helping them begin entrepreneurial journeys of their own.

  • Organization Community First Organization - Award $19,250

    Organizational CFO provides coaching and consultation services to individuals in key development organizations.  Our services include convening, research and data development, project management, and strategy that incorporates the enterprise and viewpoints of under engaged community innovators.

    This award will help launch the TeenPrenuer Small Business Enterprise program. Our hope is this program can be a pipeline to spark, expose, train and nurture the opportunities that exist as an entrepreneur.  We hope this can become part of programming that will exist in the entrepreneurial center at the newly renovated Henrietta B Foster Center that will be a part of MAPS 4 implementation.

  • Beyond a Budget - Award $5,000

    Beyond a Budget is a financial literacy company that assists individuals in examining their financial habits through personalized coaching sessions, workshops, and challenges.

    Beyond a Budget is launching a program called Securing the Bags, a financial literacy program tailored for young adults considering college or already enrolled. The founder is a first-generation college student, and encountered numerous financial aspects like loans, grants, and scholarships that she wants to help students understand. This motivated her to create a program that guides young adults in making informed decisions about their academic or employment future.

    Kids at Your Service is a pioneering lawn mowing social enterprise from Linden Creative. The project aims to empower children aged 10-16 by fostering entrepreneurial abilities like financial literacy and customer relations. Through offering their services to local residents, participants not only enhance community ties but also cultivate self-assurance, trust, and pride, ultimately revitalizing their confidence and sense of belonging.

    This nonprofit is dedicated to empowering men through skill-building and community development. Their mission is to enhance men's well-being and foster stronger communities by offering targeted programs that address stress and depression while equipping participants with evidence-based tools for personal growth.   • Community Fruit Trees Project from Daylight Essentials - Award $3,000

  • The Freedom Center of Oklahoma City - Award $35,000

    The Freedom Center honors the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement in Oklahoma. Their mission encompasses education, empowerment, and enlightenment, with a particular focus on preserving the historic Freedom Center building, once home to the NAACP Youth Council led by Clara Luper. The DUO Fund resources will support the restoration of this landmark as the first phase of the Clara Luper Civil Rights Center (CLCRC) Campus, a significant component of the MAPS4 project. Scheduled to open in 2026/2027, the CLCRC will serve as a cornerstone in celebrating the contributions of Northeast Oklahoma City to the national Civil Rights Movement, fostering community identity and economic growth. The Center will offer diverse programming, including exhibitions, youth programs, public forums, performances, and workshops, aimed at engaging audiences of all ages and backgrounds.     The Clara Community Health Center (CCHC) is a free health clinic located in the heart of northeast Oklahoma City. The center is committed to mitigating health disparities by providing accessible and high-quality healthcare services to residents in our community. The clinic offers critical health screenings, physician consultation, exams, labs, and free and reduced medications, and can refer patients to medical specialists if needed. CCHC serves as a beacon of hope by offering a wide range of services to meet the specific needs of NE OKC residents.

    The clinic's goal is to expand primary care services and to implement community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about available resources and facilitate health promotion and disease prevention.

  • Class Matters' Peer-to-Peer Youth Workforce program - Award - $40,000

    Class Matters' Peer-to-Peer Youth Workforce program is a dynamic initiative where student leaders take the helm, hosting student-led workshops and conferences that actively promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and service-learning opportunities within the northeast OKC communities served. Class Matters Peer-to-Peer Youth Workforce Development Program aims to empower a cohort of 30 Classy student leaders through thorough training. Our primary goal is to inspire and engage middle and high school students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Aviation, and Mathematics/Medical) fields by offering hands-on experiences grounded in the engineering design process.

  • Alpha Boys Institute - BETA ETA LAMBDA Scholarship Foundation of ALPHA PHI ALPHA - Award $3,000

    The mission of the Alpha Boys Institute is to provide career/trade exposure and life skill training for identified middle school students in metro Oklahoma City schools at risk for dropping out. The goal is to improve the high school drop-out and incarceration statistics at the target schools. They also prepare the boys for making better life choices. Recently, they have expanded the mission to improve their anger management skills, mental health hygiene, and improved math comprehension.
