Meet the Team

  • Stephan Moore

    Stephan has over 35 years of leadership experience in non-profit and urban youth development. Stephan has been the Executive Director of Shiloh Adventures for 15 years. He has mentored and coached and is an inspiring speaker at businesses, colleges, sport teams, churches, schools, and prisons. Stephan also uses his voice and leadership to strengthen initiatives that serve families in his community including Stronger Together, City Prayer and the Urban Christian Camping Association. Stephan also serves on the Oklahoma State Board of Corrections. Stephan is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and a former scholarship athlete under Hall of Fame basketball Coaches Eddie Sutton and Nolan Richardson.

    He was the founding Director of Kids Across America camps where he served for 18 years and helped to open several multi-million dollar facilities. Stephan has designed successful programming that impacted youth and youth leaders across the nation, strengthened families, and helped launch young leaders into various spheres of leadership.

    He lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, they are the parents of 10 children.

Getting to work with an amazing team of people committed to creating space and advancing opportunities, supporting our community transformational change agents, was too great to pass up.   • Ashley Dickson Oso

    Ashley currently serves as the Director of Programs and Communications for the Neighborhood Alliance. Working in community development for over 13 years, She has overseen a myriad of community revitalization projects including the Strong Neighborhoods Initiative - a targeted revitalization strategy designed to tip inner city neighborhoods towards self-sufficiency.

    She offers trainings, such as The 10 Commandments of Community Engagement to University classes as well as other nonprofits as a roadmap to equitable and sustainable change in a city. Her latest project, Diversity and Equity in Philanthropy, is a collaboration of local foundations, corporations and nonprofits designed to foster new, more equitable funding practices in the nonprofit community.

    Ashley also serves as a Commissioner for the City of OKC's Urban Design Commission and the Board Chair for Progress OKC and Board member for Neighborhood Housing Services.

  • Jonathan Veal

    Since 2017, Jonathan Veal’s engagement with RestoreOKC has evolved from volunteer, board member, consultant, and currently director. As Managing Director, Jonathan provides day to day support to the Executive Director as well as directional support for the respective program arm directors. Externally, Jonathan supports the organization by building, establishing, & cultivating relationships with community & business partners around the greater OKC metro. Jonathan is a tremendous builder of people & culture. He has a passion for seeing individuals go from where they “Are” to where they desire to “Be”. Jonathan has an impeccable track record of detailed oriented work over the long haul that results in overall satisfaction. Prior to RestoreOKC, Jonathan spent thirteen years with Chick-fil-A, Inc focusing on Leadership Development and Customer Service elements to the team. Jonathan was a key member of the expansion team that helped to increase the visibility of the Chick-fil-A brand in the Greater Oklahoma City area.

    A native of Houston, Texas, Jonathan and his wife of 25 years Chonta (Ft. Worth) have made Oklahoma City home since 2009 with their five children Cameron, Caleb, Carson, Julia, and Clayton.

    Why does community-led giving matter to me? I chose to be a part of the project for the opportunity to reimage the framework by which Resource partners & Practitioners engage one another. Every life possesses value. I'm motivated by what role I play in assisting the measure that has not been unearthed yet.

  • Brittany Carter-Thomas, Esq.

    Brittany Carter-Thomas was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English Literary & Cultural Studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2014 and her Juris Doctorate in 2017 from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Although an attorney by trade, Brittany Carter-Thomas has led local and national nonprofits in Atlanta and Miami, FL. Brittany and her husband, Rickey, moved back to Oklahoma City in June 2019 to help improve the education statistics. Currently, she serves as Founder and Executive Director of Freedom City, a nonprofit focused on removing barriers and providing supports for students and families in Oklahoma City to reach their potential.

    Brittany is also actively involved in her community. She serves on the boards of Trinity Legal Services and Freedom Worship. She is also a member of the Eastside Market Advisory Board, and the Hope Coalition, a team focused on implementing Dr. Chan Hellman’s Science of Hope.

    Brittany’s ongoing mission is to ensure each student reaches their potential.

    Why does community-led giving matter to me? The Eastside Duo Fund matters to me because it allows me to invest in others as others have invested in me. When my husband and I started Freedom City, we had a hope and a calling to change lives, and so many people came alongside my husband and I and continue to do so to make that happen. I am dedicated to ensuring that I can support others in realizing their dreams just as so many have done for me.

  • Kori Hall

    Kori Hall is the Chief Programs Officer at City Care OKC, a non-profit that advocates for the overlooked in our community. They provide food for the hungry, relief for the hurting, and hold space for complete restoration of lives that have gotten off course. With enough endurance, we witness, firsthand, remarkable stories of transformation.

    Her background is ministry and social work, specializing in services to those in marginalized communities. Her main focuses are community development and wraparound services for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness.

    Kori currently serves as the Board Chair for Restore OKC. She serves as a member of the Communities Subcommittee for MAPS 4 projects, a volunteer with OKCPS schools in NE OKC, as a Deacon at Frontline Church, and as a collaborator with Stronger Together and With Love OKC.

    She is also a spoken word artist and public speaker who uses creative arts and storytelling to advocate for local issues. She hopes to equip community members with the tools they need to bring change to their cities, one neighborhood at a time.

  • Marcus Jackson

    Marcus Jackson is the CEO and Co-Founder of Urban Bridge, and organization that empowers future leaders through mentorship, education and entrepreneurship to promote healthy communities.

    He is an Eastside, Oklahoma City native with a passion for community development. He graduated from Classen School of Advanced Studies and Performing Arts and has always resided in NE OKC.

    With a backdrop as an award-winning music producer, Marcus has won the prestigious Dove Award and Stellar award. While music is his passion, Marcus' love for his community drives him. For more than a decade, Marcus has birthed several regional impact programs and trained urban leaders nationally.

    Currently, he is overseeing the growth and development of Urban Bridge, Launch Labs Consulting, and The Bridge Impact Center, focusing on urban mentorship and entrepreneurship.

    Marcus and his wife, Shakera, have 4 children. They reside in NE OKC and enjoy music, food, and travel.
